Kent MOPS

Our MOPPETS program provides care for children ages birth through kindergarten.  Mother place their children in age appropriate rooms with loving childcare workers.  While mothers attend the MOPS meeting, the children enjoy a program with planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, and snacktime are guided by our team of dedicated MOPPETS workers.  Each childcare worker has completed a background check by the state police to ensure your child's safety and your peace of mind.

The MOPPETS classrooms are in Building A of the Faith Baptist Church campus.  Each room has a sign in sheet and moms are provided with child identification cards which must be presented upon pick-up.

MOPPETS Rooms:

• Lambs - Infants and Young Walkers
• Elephants & Zebras - One year olds
• Giraffes - Two year olds
• Preschool -  Three year olds
• Pre K - Four year olds
• Kindergarten - Five year olds
• Homeschool  - Five and up

MOPPETS Sickness Policy:

While we understand that each MOPS mom wants to attend every meeting, sometimes children are sick and for the health of other children, must be kept at home.  If your child has experienced any of the following symptoms in the last 24 hours, please keep them home:

• Green, runny nose
• Heavy eye mucous
• Fever
• Rash
• Continuous coughing
• Swollen neck glands
• Diarrhea
• Vomiting

Be a MOPPETS Volunteer!

Our MOPPETS volunteers are dedicated to serving children and their moms in our program.  If you have a love for children and a desire to help moms grow, you too could help in our MOPPETS program.  We are looking for volunteers to help every 2nd and 4th Tuesday morning September through May.  If you are not available for each MOPS meeting, but would still like to help, please contact us.
